"toddler grandson taken due to severe diarrhoea"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

My family are currently waiting to be seen, over 2 hours after arriving. Department is unorganised, paying for parking prior to being seen is ridiculous - how on earth do you know how long you will be?!

We are sorry you had to wait for treatment in our children's A&E dept, it can be hard to predict how long treatment will take, especially if there are a lot of children who need attention. I am the manager of the childrens' A&E department and would be happy to discuss this with you. I agree it's hard to judge how long your stay will be. In relation to parking, I'm afraid that's outside my control, but I will pass on your comments. The charges are £3.20 for up to three hours and £5 for up to five. One of the reasons we haven't introduced payment on exit, I am told, is because of the queues that would be likely to build up if we did. Happy to get your feedback: toni.cox@nhs.net.
