I'm lucky my "scare" turned out to be enlarged glands on my nose but it could have been a different story. I think the procedure could be sped up. It took 2 months wait for a biopsy appointment. After the biopsy, it was another 4 weeks before I was told that I was in the clear. My first visit to my GP was in June, so, even though there was nothing seriously wrong in the end, I do feel that this was a long time to be left worrying.
