"Wait all day in phlebotomy"

Phlebotomy services are clearly understaffed, under funded or both. The queue for a blood test can often involve in excess of 30 or 40 people in front of you in the queuing system. Are all Hackney GPs sending their patients routinely to Homerton instead of performing this simple process on site in their own surgeries? I have been to phlebotomy services in many other London hospitals and none are so bad or busy as Homerton. I also do not believe this was a 'rogue' or unexpectedly busy period. I went twice, and twice it was dreadful. The only advice anyone gave me was to turn up at 7am. What's going on Homerton/Hackney GPs?
