"disgusted with service of local NHS service"

I was in hospital for over a week in september 2013 and when I was allowed to come home i was sent a letter to my house with a referral to my local hospital (St Helens) asking me to go to the gastroenterology department. I got there and after a 20 minute wait i got called to the nurse and told that I had been sent to the wrong department I needed to be at the urology department and this was down to the hospital that I stayed in (Whiston) So after that the nurses in st helens phoned whiston and arranged for me to go to whiston on that day and see what needed to be done. I was very dissapointed when I got to whiston I told them i had not been informed by themselves that I was being referred and it was ridiculous that I had been sent to the wrong department. I didnt recieve an apology or anything. I will do anything I can to not use this hospital again and my family will also do the same.
