(as a service user),

What annoys me is that we have arrive at a place where bureaucracy has replaced human connections.

My doctor should know me well enough to know what I think, rather than need to be told what I think by some impersonal survey by people that don’t know me from Adam!

Thank you for taking the time to respond and provide feedback. However, I am disappointed to read you comments. TRAQS is a relatively new service (almost 2 years since launched) which deals with all GP referrals for patients registered with a GP practice within the Telford and Wrekin area offering a Choice of provider and offering the option of attending a community clinic where appropriate.. We rely upon your GP to provide accurate information in relation to the reason for the referral but I am sure you can appreciate that as TRAQS is the service which speaks to the patient and offers Choice this is not something which your GP can not do as the referrals are processed by TRAQS and our in house GPs.

TRAQS provides a leaflet to all GP practices which should be handed to any patient who is being referred on for further care. I hope that your practice provided you with a copy of this leaflet as it fully explains what a patient can expect from TRAQS and the process a referral follows once received.

I can assure you that the TRAQS team are very patient focused and do as much possible to ensure that the patient's referral is processed correctly and in a timely manner.
