"hospital stay"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I have been in hospital with gallstone pain I was on 3 different wards and never saw the same doctor. On Digby ward no one came for ages if you pressed your buzzer. They seemed to be under staffed so not their fault. I was supposed to be on a low fat diet but there was nothing suitable on the menu and when you did order it was not worth eating I am now having to come back in for an operation and I am scared stiff as I do not feel very confident about my stay.

I can only apologise to you for no one answering the buzzer in a timely manner, you can be reassured that this will be discussed at the next ward meeting.

Regarding the menu again I can only apologise, however there is an alternative menu and we should have made that available to you.

I am sorry to hear that you need an operation, if you need any help or assistance during your stay then please contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service directly on 01522 707071. The main office is located in Main Reception.

Regards

Wendy Knott

Sister, Digby Ward
