"First class treatment"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

I was taken to A&E early Monday 3 February, I was in so much pain I was taken immediately into resus and investigation and morphine pain release commenced. The nursing staff were very attentive to both myself and my husband. The specialist A&E consultant was summoned and came almost immediately. She remained with me past the end of her shift and called for the duty Surgeon team registrar. I was admitted to SKDU ward and assisted all the way with a very kind, friendly professional team. During my 3 days on the ward every possible test and scan was completed. The condition I was admitted with hasn't been fully diagnosed and continued test are being undertaken. I was transferred then to Lavendar ward as a gynae issue had been found from the tests. I was visited everyday by all the disciplines of departments and my follow up appointment has come through via telephone as promised. Thank you to everyone, praise where praise is due.

Many thanks for your kind words posted online. We really appreciate that you have taken the time to feedback to the staff. We in A&E are pleased you had a positive experience with us and I have fed this back to the staff involved. We wish you well in your recovery. Lisa Spencer, A&E department manager
