"Don't beleive the stats"

About: Burnley General Hospital

If you are looking on this site for stats on how long you will have to wait then please disregard them, My mothers optician sent a referral her to her GP because of cataracts in January 2013 it is now February 2014 and she has had 1 initial assessment, 3 pre-ops and 1 cancelled operation, we have now been given another operation date for late March 2014. If we had known this was going to be the case we could have paid to have this done and my mother could be reaping the benefits, The poor woman is at her wits end. Now we have to choose, wait to see if this date gets cancelled or try and get the money together to pay. Just be aware that the process isn't a 9 week wait by far. The only plus side of this matter is that the nurses in the pre-op department are extremely kind, empathetic and professional.
