"Serious back pain"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

Transferred to ward 61 from ward 63 after confirmation by 2 MRI scans that I had a serious back problem (briefly a disc protruding onto nerves). I was transferred in late January and was not met by a nurse, welcomed by staff, settled into my bed, had a check made of who I was and what treatment I required. It was about half an hour before I was approached by a nurse.
