"Cardiac investigation"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Attended Outpatients today for a cardiac problem appointment.Sent straight for an ECG which was done within 10 minutes. Then returned to Outpatients where I hardly had sat down before being taken through for blood pressure and weight measurement.I then saw a doctor shortly after. Along with with all the team I came into contact with he was very friendly. His manner was reassuring and he outlined the next steps in the investigation and informed me he would contact me.I felt a,that I had someone who was competent and was interested in my problem but b, he was going to take responsibility in the progress of it.

Response from Lesley Crosby, Deputy Chief Nurse, Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

It was such a pleasure to read your lovely feedback and I will ensure that all of the staff in outpatients are made aware of your comments. I hope that you are now feeling better.
