"Whipps Cross Hospital failing to answer the phone"

I received a referral to see a specific consultant at Whipps Cross. When I attempted to book the appointment I was told the system would not allow a specific consultant to be booked. I was provided with the hospital's direct line in order to find out the availability of the relevant specialist. When I called the hospital there was no answer. I repeatedly called the hospital but could not even get through to the switchboard.
