I had to visit the consultant today for results of tests and a treatment plan. I can quite happily say he is one of the best Consultants I have ever seen. He explained everything thoroughly and was quite happy to answer all the questions me and my partner had about my problem and the treatment plan. We didn't feel hurried at all and came away feeling like a weight had been lifted from our shoulders after what has been a worrying few months. The staff in the Area 7 out patients were lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Whatever they are doing keep it up. If the rest of the hospital adopts this attitude they will be gold standard with CQC in no time. Thank you to all the staff I met today. Especially the consultant.
