I had my gall bladder removed today at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital and am very very happy with all of my treatment, I was reassured constantly when I had any questions, I met with my surgeon and then my anesthetist who were both very kind and reassuring. The 2 nurses who looked after me both in the morning where amazing and so kind, welcoming and friendly and looked after me so so well I couldn't have wished for better nurses, they were always on hand if you had any questions and where asking if you were OK every 10-15 Minutes, even the person who took me to the theater was amazing ( Not sure what his job title was) and helped me to completely relax before been given my anesthetic and the anesthetist was extremely reassuring when I was been put to sleep. Once I was in the recovery room I was looked after extremely well by the nurse who was looking after me who helped me control my pain and sickness. Once back on the ward I was offered food and drink, the toast I had was lovely even got marmite on and was then made a very lush strawberry milkshake which made me feel better! The 2 nurses who looked after me in the afternoon as well where lovely and doing an amazing job of looking after me and had time to have a chat! I couldn't have wished for more amazing staff today, so often you here about negative comments about hospitals but the n&n are doing a fantastic job thanks everyone x
