Patient: T S I wanted to write to thank your team at Hammersmith Hospital for the fantastic support/advice and wonderful care that was provided to my wife on 15/10/2013 to 16/10/2013. We came in at A&E and the receptionist was very fast in obtaining details and sensed the urgency given my wife's condition. We were seen by the doctor on call. Reviewed my wife's condition and admitted us to be seen in A&E. There we were attended by fabulous staff. The team provided a professional & excellent service - and kept us in the loop with all that was going on. Teams members got on well with other staff and the flow in service was superb. We then seen by two doctors. Again the doctors were superb and provided us with all the information in a polite and un-rushed manner. Listened to us and we felt we were in great hands. My wife was admitted to the MOW B1 - again nurses and staff all amazing and passionate about their jobs and the care they provide to their patients. We felt welcomed and all questions answered. nurse 5 months into the job - was brilliant from care provided to tracking meds and keeping us up to date with all aspects. We were then seen by a doctor - who took time to speak to us and listen to all our concerns. He went beyond his remit and explored answers to our concerns in particular with breast feeding and medication. Your staff make the hospital shine. It's a great pleasure to witness this. People generally drag the NHS down on bad experiences - but we must shout about care that is beyond the highest standards. Whatever Hammersmith Hospital is doing is exceptional.
