"Diversity of experience - from bad to very good..."

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

The bad experience was the fall (late at night) and the cracked femur that resulted. From my arrival at A&E through my transfer to a ward (name unknown) and thence to Ewhurst Ward my experience at Royal Surrey was good from start to finish. The level of care and attention I received was excellent and I saw a similar standard being applied to other patients around me. The constant stream of nursing staff checking blood pressure, administering pain relief, attending to personal needs and keeping the place clean was both impressive and most reassuring. Even the food was good! Although I hope it never happens, should I ever need to be hospitalised again I'm sure I couldn't do better than Royal Surrey and I wish to extend my grateful thanks to you all. Hi, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. In line with our new Trust strategy we aim to provide the best care anywhere, so it's pleasing to hear that our staff are delivering this and that the food was up to standard. Kind regards, Royal Surrey County Hospital
