"Gross misconduct"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

How can it be right that my 97 year old father-in-law was discharged at midnight and arrived at the nursing home, at which we had reserved and paid for a room, at 1 o clock in the morning. This was despite the fact that my wife, who was away with work, called the hospital twice during the day, and discharge was never mentioned. The ward also had my wife's mobile but didn't bother to call. Having an ongoing critical illness I have a lot of experience of hospitals and Hull is the worst one I have ever visited. We are taking legal advice.
