Not often one hears first class and NHS in the same sentence these days. However our recent experience over a period of months has left me very impressed with certain areas of the Northampton General. In particular the Chest clinic and all personnel involved. The quality of care is second to none, the efficiency and speed with which treatments and correlated treatments i.e. blood tests, xray, scans, were carried out and results conveyed to consultant and local GP very good; the hospital area was clean. Staff on hand at the entrance to guide, direct and answer any questions about the hospital. A well equipped restaurant at reasonable prices. I think the one biggest grouse would be the car parking - lack of space and minimum charges.. To collect medicines from the pharmacy only takes minutes, but the charge is still £2.50, half of which the time taken is spent looking for a space!! Please get this sorted and soon.
"First class!"
