"excellent care at A and E"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Anything else?

My father Peter, aged 94 was seen at 2230 on 27/12/13, with chest and urinary infections. I am a retired GP (was in Longridge), and therefore aware of NHS pressures. The care, both courtesy, clinical advice, and expertise was excellent. I would particularly commend the duty sister (I do not know her name). The doctor was quite outstanding in her care, her communication, and her compassion. I cannot commend her too highly and would ask that you pass my thanks to her personally, and give her a copy of this missive.

Response from Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to post such kind comments. We will ensure that we pass onto the staff in that area so they can have their work acknowledged. We're always pleased to receive comments and would pass on our best wishes for the future.
