"Improvement needed on ward 30 at Aintree"

About: University Hospital Aintree / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient on ward 30 at the University Hospital Aintree for the treatment of a kidney problem. The standard of care I received was average at best. I was not always treated with respect and dignity; I was not consulted on decision making; I was not given appropriate information. There is much room for improvement with regards to the medical and nursing care on this ward.
