Anything else?
My GP at the Rycote practice Thame referred me to the Neurosciences dept at the JR on the 26th March 2013 where i meet the doctor and his team , there i had various tests over a 3/4 week period, and was given the results and preventative measures i could undertake from stop smoking to more exercise and appropriate drugs. As a smoker from the age of 13 -72, i packed up immediately and have not smoked since, Fear in my case was a better deterrent than Health professionals messages. The main thrust of this review is to thank all of the health professionals involved from my GP to my Consultant and his team who gently guided me through my fear with words and tests, who treated me with respect and honesty. Nine months on i have never felt better. I know what TIA means and how to reduce my risks of getting another one, a heart attack or stroke. Thank you all for a 100% service i will always be indebted to you for you medical and emotional skills-----my thanks M Doyle
