I had an appointment today at the Breast unit to investigate a swelling in my armpit. I had a mammogram, an examination by a consultant and a scan. In all I was seen by four members of staff and I was dealt with quickly, efficiently and in a really friendly manner by all of the staff concerned. I have recently had the misfortune to accompany my daughter to hospital appointments where the staff have been off-hand and really could not care less, so it was very reassuring today to have a very pleasant experience in a local hospital.
