"The worst Maternity Ward ever visited"

This ward is exactly the opposite of what a maternity ward should be .. its such a disgrace to see medical professional behaving and managing the area in such an incompetent manner. I went to visit my friend who had just had a baby girl and I was horrified to learn about how badly she was treated during her labour. To be treated as such at a time when a women is most vulnerable, is an utter disgrace! Due to lack of support from the staff my friend decided to 'pay' money and access the facilities of specialised accommodation with a hope that at least then she would get the treatment that she rightly deserves. She as so wrong .. the ill-treatment just continued. She was spoken to rudely by the nursing staff when asked for help. During at my visit, i noticed a pile of sheets in the room and when enquired my friend said that the used bed spreads were changed about 3 days ago and have never been taken from the room. It was reported to various staff on numerous occasions but each one was quick to point their finger at some else and say ' that is not my job, the other person will take it'. When i personally reported it to the nurse, the response i got was ' I do not know love, I have just come in. It must be from the team who have just finished the shift' and when I said that it has been there for over 3 days, she said ' ok, give me sometime - I will come and check it' . Following this, i was there for 2 hours and there was no sign of this nurse. I understand from my friend that the sheets were never removed from the room!!! Shame on these professionals and the management team within the hospital to seem have forgotten the very purpose of their jobs!!! You guys are a disgrace to the health profession.
