care in general was very good, not much communication from staff as to what was happening with my care. some nurses very good others not so. night nurses were fantastic on Stock ward. however my children came to visit me and were told i had been transferred to a hospice , the nurse even showed them where to go. they told the children they were very sorry, the children were very distressed and upset as i had only been admitted for a breast reduction. the children were beside themselves as they could not find me. i was in fact still in the recovery ward and had not come back to the ward at that time.my children were indeed very scared and crying once they found me. i am a ward manager myself and was very upset by what happened.
