I went to see my doctor in October who referred me to the endoscopy clinic. I received a letter in November advising me I would be contacted in 5 days to arrange an appointment. No telephone call received. I chased TRAQS who were no help by phone.
I had to return to the doctors in mid November as my condition had worsened. It was then elevated as urgent. I rang TRAQS to chase as I was off sick and condition was still of concern.
They advised me by phone appointment for late November, which is just within the 2 week timeframe. I was not offered an alternative time, hospital or any chance at all! It was just given that I would have to wait until Friday next week.
The leaflet provided said "it's your choice" is either inaccurate or the service is not being provided in accordance with the guidelines.
