"Published waiting times are a load of rubbish!"

About: Manor Hospital

Anything else?

After being referred to the Manor by my GP against my wishes, I was seen by a consultant /surgeon on the 19th June 2013 who diagnosed and recommended a total hip replacement. As of today, 10/12/2013, I am still waiting for the operation, having been cancelled not once but twice at short notice. This makes a total of 26 weeks waiting time, somewhat more than the eight weeks claimed.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service you recently received in our Emergency Department. Initial assessment of patients clinical need for priority of treatment is undertaken to ensure that life threatening conditions are seen promptly but this may result in some patients waiting longer to be seen. We work towards the national standard of all patients being seen, treated and discharged within four hours.
