"My care was excellent!"

I fell off my bike two years ago and broke two bones in my hand. I was in a bit of pain.

I was taken into see a triage nurse within 10-15 minutes, which was great. I was then sent for an xray which was done quickly. The xray was then sent back to the nurse where she noticed two bones were broken. I was then sent home strapped up with a cast on and was given pain killers.

My care was excellent!

I then was given a fracture clinic appointment. When I went to this I was told it was healing well. Because I received quick and efficient care I feel that’s how it healed so well.

I was always going to write and thank the hospital and staff but didn’t know there was a way to do this at home. I work full time, so don’t have a lot of time to pop back in but I really wanted to give feedback. If I knew about Patient Opinion at the hospital I could have gave my thanks sooner.
