"Podiatry & Foot - Hopeless service no one ever..."

About: Colchester General Hospital

Anything else?

This department might a well not exist as whenever I call the telephone just rings and rings and no one answers. How can you comment on a service that doesn't exist. After a consultation i was given one pair of insoles which quite honestly have moved as they are stuch together. I was advised to get another pair from the internet and then to get another podiatry appointment so they could be stuck together properly. I have a day off on Monday 2nd December 2013 so it would ideal to pop in then. I work full time in Billericay so normally have to have a hole day off for any hospital appointmetn but have a dentist appointment in the afternoon.

I apologise you’ve not had a good patient experience. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients, their relatives or carers. We would like the opportunity to discuss your experiences more fully and to apologise in person. If you are willing I would appreciate it if I could ask the matron to contact you. Could you email me, using the reference “RDEE4-Colchester General Hospital at 28/11/2013 12:37:32”, please? Could you tell me the department too please? Many thanks Paul Searle, Head of Communications Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk
