What I liked
A few weeks ago my mother-in law had to spend a couple of nights on Chichester Ward ( Barry Wing )
My wife and I were concerned on a few areas which can best be described as I wouldn’t like to treat a dog there.
To be specific we were concerned about the following:
Bed density
Overpowering smell of urine
Lack of clinical management addressing a number of issues.
What could be improved
increase space allocated to beds ie reduce density
increase fresh air and environment
close Barry wing as soon as possible to bring wards up to standard
bring back Matron and apply some common sense to care and environment
