I would like to commend the staff on the Cardiac Unit, both the Chest Pain Ward and Dunlop, for the excellent care they gave my Dad during his recent hospital admission. He was admitted on Saturday 16th November with chest pain and tachycardia. He was quickly assessed and admitted to the Chest Pain Ward. His care there was first class from the domestic staff to the consultant nothing seemed to be too much trouble. He had an angiogram on Tuesday and discovered he needed a CABG. Although we were all very shocked the nurses from the Cardiac Catheterisation Unit and the consultant all took time to explain what this would involve. He was moved to Dunlop on Thursday 21st November and once again has received excellent care. I cannot fault any aspect of his care. He's now in Derriford having had his CABG today.
"Praise for the Cardiac Unit"
