Anything else?
My first visit to the hospital to see the Rheumatology Consultant left me reeling at the disorganisation. Initially I put this down to teething problems but my second visit was even worse. It was like a home for the bewildered. No one appeared to know what was going on and the staff appeared to lack any direction or purpose. Although there were few attendees I waited an inordinately long time- and when I eventual ly was seen we were interrupted 3 times by someone checking all the patient notes as she had mislaid some. The upshot was that the notes were mine and the registrar was using them. I was not looking forward to todays visit . However the whole ethos had changed and everyone was attentive and switched on. I had a really good visit and saw my consultant who is a delight. Thank you to the staff who were responbible for taking ownership of this lovely hospital.
