"Excellent staff care and attention."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

I was referred to to the Dept of Neurosurgery. Every member of staff that I came into contact with me was outstanding. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and because I was sent to a different waiting room, she looked out for my daughter who was meeting me, and showed her where to go. A nurse continually checked how long people had been waiting, and gave updates to them. Again she had a lovely manner. I was, delighted to see the consultant on time and he had excellent communication skills. He had an assistant with him who also had an excellent manner, explaining everything before carrying out any tests. I was referred for further tests in other departments which were carried out without along wait. I was very pleased to be copied in to all letters to my doctor
