What I liked:

Clearly sign posted directions to Departments, helpfull friendly hospital staff , and very acceptable waiting times ,I am aware that The Sunderland Royal is currently in the process of modernisation and I would like to say that I believe that I still found your hospital very well presented, and clean to a fairly high standard.

What could be improved? The information concerning access to the Ultra Sound Scan Department is presently given as accessable through the Hylton rd block , but I believe this information should be altered to accessable through the Kayll rd block , which is actually neaer the department ( I am currently suffering from a few medical complaints , and one of my complaints means that I am unable to walk very far before I experience very severe muscle pain and weakness , I found the walk from the Hylton rd block to the Ultra Sound Department agonizing , I have been unwell and I am currently suffering from severe pain and muscle weakness in my legs , which I believe was triggered by the distance I had to walk to reach the department.


I could not fairly answer some of the questions ( medical history/ pain control )as I am currently recieving treatments delivered through other hospitals .
