My wife and I are in our 60's and have been together since being 15 years old. We have always done things together and about 18months ago, we were both diagnosed with cancer, so here was something else that we were going to face together. We both attended the fabulous Queens Centre for treatment. Some say that some hospitals couldn't care less, we say that Castle Hill couldn't care more. We were treated with the utmost dignity and respect and even good humour, so much so that it was like visiting friends when we had to attend every day for Radiation. All of the staff including consultants and cleaners, seemed driven towards caring for the patient to be their number one priority.To be fair, maybe some other hospital may have got us through it but the Queens Centre in our opinion got us through it with flags flying and drums beating, they seemed genuinely determined that having 2 doses of cancer in our family wasn't going to get us down. For both of us the load was lightened by knowing that the other was being cared for as much as we could have done. We were among the lucky ones, in that our cancers were caught and treated in time, we know that others won't be and we are desperately sorry for them but if they have any chance at all, then their lucky day will be when they are referred to the Queens Centre at Castle Hill. I have now been diagnosed with a heart problem and guess where I have asked to be treated? that's right, Castle Hill.

I am pleased to read that the staff at the Queen's Centre treated you and your wife in a caring, friendly and professional manner, helping you through this difficult time.
