"Fantastic staff at Plastics department"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary / Plastic surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had an appointment at Hull Royal Infirmary Plastics department, with a very deep gash in his hand.

They had only one doctor on duty and although his appointment was at 10am, we didn't leave until 3pm.

But the nurses made the wait bearable; they were all so friendly, kind and approachable. They took the time to explain what was happening, kept apologising for us having to wait (although it was in no way their fault) and were lovely in every way.

Dear Oscalet

Thank you for adding you comment to the Patient Opinion website. It is always a pleasure to receive such positive feedback and we will ensure that the staff concerned are made aware of these. I am sorry that your son had to wait longer than expected for treatment when he attended the Plastics department at Hull Royal Infirmary recently. I hope that he is now recovering well from his injury.
