Anything else?
When unable to access my normal GP services the 'Walk in Centre' provided an excellent and in some ways better alternative. I have only praise for the professional, courteous and caring way in which I was treated by the nurse who treated me and the receptionist who booked me in. For the first time I experienced the NHS service working in a 'joined up' way, with the nurse telephoning The William Harvey Hospital to review her findings and she was able to secure a hospital appointment for the following day. I do not believe this would ever have happened so expediently through my GP's surgery. I appreciate that people may complain about the wait of 1.5hrs, but relatively I believe this compares very favourably with A&E times which the press reports can often be in excessive of 4hrs; if I expect my health problem to be thoroughly investigated then so do others and this takes time. Well done Folkestone this is a real asset in your health service provision!
"Thank you!"
