"Emergency care-Kelbrook patient"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

I was treated for concussion having been brought in by air ambulance on Thursday afternoon October 17th(2013). I would like to thank all concerned from the air doctor ( I don't know which service he is part of, but he chose Preston Royal as the best place for me to be taken to by helicopter, given my type of accident & the need for a CTC scan) to the consultant who assessed the results . Throughout my treatment I was treated with the utmost care & attention>I felt foolish for falling off a ladder but no- one agreed & just cheered me along with interesting conversation engaging me as much as possible. I was so impressed with your hospital ! It is very modern &, for me, very efficient. I do not remember any of the names even though all wore badges & neither my husband(who followed me in by car) nor I were really were thinking properly at the time but we both know that all the staff concerned with my case need to be fully thanked. In fact I will send a separate letter. This is for others to read . We need to appreciate our NHS!

Thanks for your comments. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services.
