"Daughter severe infection"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Paediatrics NHS Solihull CCG

(as a parent/guardian),

Daughter suffers from severe eczema, went to GP who wouldn't examine her or prescribe anti-biotics when skin started to breakdown and become infected. Admitted via A&E to Ward 16 heartlands hospital as an emergency due to severity of infection, IV medicine given and lots of hourly treatments and soaks, in severe pain and discomfort averaging 2-3 hours sleep per night.

The ward and staff were extremely helpful and supportive to both our daughter and us as worried parents, their knowledge and care was excellent, medical team extremely helpful and very good with daughter.

Dear Worried Mom,

I hope your daughter is now feeling better and her treatment on Ward 16 has helped. I will pass on your comments to Ward 16.

Kind regards

Margaret
