"Absolute disgrace - avoid if at all possible"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

Anything else?

I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated in this place and I will never ever return to this hospital for undiagnosed problems ever again. The ward I was in was not cleaved for the 2 days I was there. No one told me what was happening. I was treated like a number, that's all. Nursing Staff - where has all the compassion and sympathy gone?? When someone is ill they need reassurance, not to be treated as though you are a burden. That's how I felt, I felt as though I had to ask what they were doing to me when they were doing it, I wasn't reassured at all, not one single bit. Should be addressed as it's really important.

We are very sorry and concerned to hear of your experiences at St Peter’s Hospital and it is certainly not the standard of care we expect our patients to receive. It is not acceptable that you feel you were treated ‘as a number’ and that our staff did not show compassion. I would very much like to follow this up with the ward and staff involved and would be grateful if you could contact me directly on 01932 722859 to discuss your experiences further.
