I feel I was mistreated in every way possible.
Patients depend on the care of nurses, however if we buzz we're left waiting until they finish handover (typical excuse they carry). Also they're so pushed for time that they overlooked my allergies I had to penicillin - I had a red wrist band that states my allergy.
I suffered up until the point I thought death is coming my way. My tongue had swollen so much that it come out my mouth, my gums were swollen, my teeth felt wobbly, and I also had a severe rash.
I complained, Sandwell hospital told me they were sorry, and that they have put things in place ie training. I would never get over this experience.
