"16 weeks pregnant"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Anything else?

I am very concerned about the midwives at West M Hospital. I had my second meeting with the midwife and she left me wait more than an hour until I told to another one that I had to go work otherwise they would have never looked at me. When she realized she was late and there were other mothers waiting she did everything in a hurry and after 5-6 min she wanted to get rid of me.I asked her to listen to me at least for another couple of minutes as I have a horrible urinary infection and I don't know what to do.She said that she checked my blood pressure and according to the procedure that's all what she is required to do at the 16 week appointment...is all in the booklet "safe hands" developed by the hospital she said and also the consultant will do more. All this happened at the Kingfisher practice where midwifes from West M. Hospital come sometimes. Luckily I have my GP who takes care of me. I am so worried that my baby is on their hands - midwifes from West M. Hospital....what if they will do the same when my time to give birth comes? I am so afraid for my baby and for myself. I am 20 weeks pregnant now and I still didn't receive the maternity file that every pregnant lady should have it in case you need it. I asked several times and they said that I have to wait. If the next appointment goes wrong I will immediately report it and I will make sure that somebody is aware about what is happening.
