Have used this dept several times with all my children and had excellent care. In reply to anonymous with the young child with a burn who was turned away at 7am, the minor Injury dept is not open at that time, opening hours are 0800 till 2300. The intercom would have been anwered by a ward nurse who is not trained to attend to casualties, neither to dress a would or give a painkiller.
