"Maternity care to rival private hospitals"

About: Lister Hospital

Anything else?

I recently gave birth in Lister's Midwife Led Unit. Whilst it took a while to get checked in because of a shift change, once we had our assigned midwife, the service was first class. The midwife stayed with us offering almost one to one care for the whole period of my labour and birth. She was fabulous; offering great support and reassurance and explaining everything to me to allow me to make informed choices. The facilities were spotless and well thought out. More like a hotel than a hospital. I wouldn't hesitate to return for my second child's birth or to recommend Lister to other expectant mothers.

Since coming together at our new Diamond Jubilee Maternity Unit, the service provided to mothers at the Lister has been transformed. And although your experience is now typical of the feedback that we receive on a daily basis, it's still lovely to read it - as will the maternity team very shortly! So many thanks again for getting in touch and may we wish you and your new arrival the very best for the future.
