At the age of 42 I thought when I was told I would have to come into hospital for an operation it would be awful. I'd heard the stories and written about people's bad experience of the NHS but the truth was it went smoothly from beginning to end. My consultant had enough time to talk me through what would happen, the nurses on the ward were great - even the food was good. And it could not have been more clean if I'd done it myself. Thank you all
