"Completely inept hospital"

Anything else?

I have a mechanical aortic valve and was last year admitted to PRUH with 'bacterial endocarditis' (an infection in my heart around my artificial valve). I test and manage my own INR and have a Coagucheck XS machine and my test strips are provided by my GP on prescription. When they needed to check my INR when I was in hospital, they couldn't do it, they didn't have the equipment. Therefore, they actually asked me to bring in my INR machine so I could test myself. Doesn't that just show how inept and amateur this dump is?? My wife had to bring my machine in at visiting time and the nurses stood and watched me how I did it as they didn't know how to, hahahahaha. They are laughable, I even know how to manage myself better than there inept 'coagulation department' does.
