"I really can't see the point of this service."

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to the TRAQS team.

The TRAQS service began just over a year ago to manage all referrals for patients requiring first outpatient appointments and to offer them the Choice, wherever possible, of hospital. With the current challenges affecting capacity at our local hospitals the TRAQS team are usually able to offer an earlier appointment at a different hospital if the patient is willing to travel further to be seen. We appreciate that this is not always an option which is suitable for everyone and will do our very best to book an appointment which is suitable for the patient.

Unfortunately, TRAQS can only offer appointments which have been released to Choose and Book, the electronic booking system used by TRAQS, by the hospital.
