I have a long association over many years with St Marys breast clinic and after moving away I have returned after gp referral. What a difference to the attitude of the provincial hospital: St Marys is efficent, supportive, patient orientated. Everyone I encountered :from the receptionist and nurses to the doctor and radiographer showed professionalism coupled with human kindness, (a rare combination in many NHS Trusts!!). There was no long wait between the various procedures and there seemed to be no 'log jam' of patients. Coming for tests is always a worrying time for any patient and St Marys seems to bustle with efficent activity but with a dose of good humour thrown in !!! Thank you to the whole team!
