I write to express our utmost thanks to the medical staff at Queens Hospital and in particular the Rheumatology Team, for the high quality of care and without exception, for the professional, considerate and very pleasant manner in which diagnosis, care and support was provided for my wife. Appointments with the consultants were followed by an appointment in March 2013 with the Rheumatology Team when we first met the Rheumatology consultants. My wife was diagnosed as suffering from ‘Systemic Lupus’ and a programme of treatment was put in place and is ongoing. Without the Rheumatology Unit patients such as my wife would continue to worsen and never know the reasons for their deteriorating health nor have the excellent treatment needed. We will always be particularly grateful to the consultants and Sister –special people in a very special Rheumatology Department at Burton Queens Hospital.
