We had excellent care from the foetal medicine team during a very difficult pregnancy that resulted in an emergency c-section at 28 weeks.
The team on the labour ward were excellent both on the day of delivery and in the weeks leading up to the delivery when I was admitted for severe bleeding.
The neonatal team were fantastic for the 3 months our baby stayed in hospital - couldn't have asked for more. Our baby is in excellent health now and I'm sure it's down to their expertise.
The only thing that could have been improved was my care on the maternity ward post c-section. Far too few staff, an 'enforced' bed bath by a brutal healthcare assistant (! ) and no breastfeeding advice. To be fair this was available to mums with babies in the form of a 'breakfast workshop' but I seemed to slip through the net of support since my baby was in neonatal.
