"Ambulance service is better than ever"

I get a great service from the ambulance service. It’s arranged by the Bristol Eye Hospital. Whenever I have an appointment the letter says in big letters ‘transport arranged’. The ambulance people ring me a couple of days before the appointment to check that the appointment is still OK and to let me know roughly what time they will be arriving.

In the past year or so the ambulance service is now running better than it ever has in the last 10 years I have needed it.

I’m now 83 so it’s really great I can use this service to get me from Clevedon to Bristol and back again.
