I was referred to the eye clinic by my optician and saw Dr Simon Wallis. After a thorough investigation, Dr Wallis identified my problem and took the time to explain in detail, and yet in simple, understandable terminology, the issue, prognosis and treatment. The range of technology available to assess the condition of my eyes was impressive but Dr Wallis' manner and approach were superb. While I didn't receive the best news in terms of my condition, Dr Wallis made me feel confident that I had received the best possible service and my health and wellbeing were very important. In a department that was clearly extremely busy, I was made to feel at ease and as though Dr Wallis had all the time I needed to talk through the condition and treatment options. It was refreshing to feel on a par with the expert, rather than as though I was being talked at, or down to. Many thanks.
